What to look for in a certified inspected vehicle

Not every inspection is the same. Learn what a proper multi-point inspection covers, what the report should include, and what to ask before you buy.

A certified vehicle should come with proof

Ask to see the inspection report before you commit. A genuine certification lists what was checked, what was replaced, and what was found acceptable. Anything without documentation is a promise, not a certification.

Tires, brakes and fluids are the tell

The cheapest things to fix are also the most telling: tire tread and age, brake pad thickness, no warning lights, fresh fluids, and belts that do not squeal. Inspected vehicles have all of them verified at the time of the report.

History matters as much as condition

Service records, past repairs, and ownership count tell you how a car was treated. Vehicles without a documented history are not automatically bad, but they deserve a closer look and a lower number.

Ask what the inspection does not cover

No inspection catches everything. Pre-purchase inspections, recall checks, and a cold start reveal things a walk-around cannot. We are happy to explain what we check, what we flag, and what you should verify before the sale is final.
